This is my little Copilot and Buddy 

" Mocha "

Here she is checking out a stool that I made for my wife.

It started out as a old weathered section of firewood.

Then I burnt it with a tiger torch until very burnt.

Then ( somewhere outside )  sand it down until you see hints of wood colour coming threw.

Next I took a bright yellow stain and scraped it into all the weathered cracks.

This took 4 coats to seal and fill all the cracks.

Each coat of yellow followed a sanding to keep the top of the stool a black colour.

Then just when I was getting happy with the finish  Wendy says 

" It would be cool if it Glowed in the dark"

So a few additonal coats of Blue Glow in the dark paint and more clear Epoxy.

I'm very happy with the results.

Turned out pretty cool.
